Michi-no-Eki (roadside station) Kashima has been designated as a focused Michi-no-Eki by Land and Transportation Ministry, which is intended that the bodies concerned in collaboration support it comprehensively from the planning stage.

By taking advantage of the sisytems of multiple bodies concerned in combination, we intend to realize a user-friendly Michi-no-Eki, giving shape to the suggestions.

35 Michi-no-Ekis nationwide have been chosen as the ones that have good planning that can be strongholds to revitalize the local areas, and with focused support, that can be expected to be effective projects. (Michi-no-Eki Kashima is the only one chosen in Saga prefecture.)
