Ariake Sea cuisine

There are many rare creatures in the Ariake Sea that has the Japan's largest mud flat and the maximum tidal range of six meters. You may broil, boil, or fry 'mudskippers,' 'eel gobies,' 'black cow tongue (tonguefsh),' 'ark shells,' etc. 'Ganizuke' (salted crab) made by grinding meat from crabs (fiddler crabs) living in the Ariake Sea goes very well with sake.
