What agricultural experience mainly constitutes is called green tourism, and what fishery experience mainly constitutes is called blue tourism. Kashima is surrounded by the sea and the mountains. It is a good environment in which you can enjoy these two kinds of tourism. The notion of 'new tourism' is proposed, adding vacation rentals, guest houses and various kinds of experiential tourism to green tourism and blue tourism. It has been developing as a new kind of nature-experiencing tourism.
