It is a shrine festival held on the day when the Inari god is enshrined in Fushimi, Kyoto. In the precincts, in addition to kagura, or sacred music and dance, local entertainments such as menburyu and shishimai (or a lion dance) are demonstrated. The shrine is crowded with a lot of people all day.
